10.30am – 2.30 November – February.

PURCHASING EXPERIENCE DAYS & GIFT VOUCHERS

Our experience days can be purchased on line if giving as a gift and the gift card and voucher will be posted out by first class post within 48hrs of purchase. Our website shop accepts any card payment or paypal.  Please call 07974064078 if your order is urgent and we can take payment details over the phone and post the card out or arrange a time for you to collect.

Vouchers are not refundable.

If you wish to make a direct booking, please ring to discuss availability and we will book a date and time for you. Payment will be required up front or a deposit to be agreed with a Vale Royal Falconry Director.

SPECTATOR TICKETS

Spectator tickets are available to accompany a participant on an experience session. We do not offer general entry tickets to the falconry centre as we are not open to public day visitors and provide experiences by appointment only.

Spectator tickets can be purchased with the experience voucher. Extra spectator tickets can also be purchased on the day of the booked experience.  Spectator tickets can accompany all of our experiences but not technical training lessons or courses.

VOUCHER VALIDITY

We offer 12 months from date of purchase to use the experience voucher, giving ample time and opportunity to book in. Vouchers must be booked and redeemed within the 12 month period.

You may book a date and time as soon as you receive the voucher by calling 07974064078 or 01606 851873.

We will request the voucher reference number displayed on the ticket at the time of booking.

As numbers are limited on each experience session, we advise on booking early to avoid disappointment, especially during the summer and weekends. At certain times of the year it may be necessary to book your experience up to 8 weeks in advance.

CANCELLATIONS OR RE-ARANGED BOOKINGS

We require a minimum of 48 hours of notice to cancel or re-arrange a booked experience date otherwise this will invalidate the voucher. A £20 administration fee to re-arrange an experience day will be charged. (not applicable to spectators)

Participants who fail to turn up for their booked experience will invalidate their vouchers.

Please note that if you are late you will lose that portion of the day and it will not be repeated as it is not fair to other participants.

EXPIRED VOUCHERS

Under exceptional circumstances, subject to availability we may be able to extend your voucher by 3 months to use on a week day if you are unable to use your voucher within the validity period and have discussed this with us prior to voucher expiry. An administration fee of £20 will be charged. A voucher can only be extended and booked once.

AGE LIMITS & ABILITIES

Our junior experience is limited to 4-14yrs. Families can bring younger children to watch a junior experience or accompany a family falconry experience if pre-arranged.

Our meerkat experience is 8years and over, although we may allow 6yrs and over following prior discussion about suitability. Please call to discuss.

All other experiences are 14 years or over except our technical lessons and courses that are provided for adults only.

We can tailor our experience sessions to suit all ages and abilities. Please ring to discuss.

Our hawk walk involves a leisurely walk around the grounds, on fields and through some woodland.

Our Owl Prowl experience has minimal walking involved as this is provided at a seating area and into the edge of the field meadow to provide a more up close and personal encounter.

EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS

We provide all of our experience days in all types of weather throughout the year and have an undercover area for brief shelter when it is raining to handle and fly some of the birds of prey. We advise participants to wear suitable outdoor clothing.

We reserve the right to postpone a day at any time with reasonable cause due to extreme weather conditions such as severe wind gales and rain or snow and ice. If we have to postpone an experience day we will offer an alternative date but we are unable to give a refund in this instance.
