Meerkat Experience for one person!
2026 ticket to be used during Spring, Summer and Autumn months, 1st April – 30th September.
Are you mad about Meerkats? Then this VIP experience is for you!
Meet our resident family of meerkats and treat them to their favourite tasty snacks and watch them at close quarters from specially constructed viewing areas.
Then supervised by our keeper, you will then go into the meerkat enclosure ‘Meerkat Mews’ to see these inquisitiev and cheaky animals up close and personal!

This is not a look at and watch experience – this is getting into their natural habitat enclosure and watching them free roaming as they go about their business! You may get a meerkat on sentry duty on your lap or even get a cuddle from one!
This experience is limited to one or two participants in the enclosure at a time, so you will get plenty of quality time with them! Why not pair up and have fun together! (We can of course cater for private groups or parties too!)
You will get a private tour of the falconry centre on your visit and get the opportunity to meet some of our feathered friends to take part in some owl handling! and possibly some vulture feeding flying to your glove if you dare!
Duration of whole experience is 1 hour 30 minutes, with time shared between animals and birds in a small group of people participating.
Don’t forget your camera and wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, such as trousers and wellington boots.
Minimum age >8 years, although have a chat with us if you have a slightly younger child who can be sure to sit still with the animals!
(minimum age considered is > 6 years old if used to pet cats or dogs) All children must be accompanied by an adult.
A spectator ticket can be purchased at time of booking a date to accompany a participant for £15. Participating tickets are £45 per person.
You will also get a private tour of the falconry centre to meet our feathered residents and take part in some owl handling! and fly and feed a vulture flying to the gloved hand if you dare! Duration of experience 1 hour 30 mins (time is split between animals and birds of prey)

Experience vouchers need to used within the validity period and are not refundable.
1 week of notice must be given to cancel or rearrange your booked experience day.
